Terms of service
Last updated 30 September 2026
imgMUTINY (the Service) is an image hosting service run by the MUTINY community (MUTINY, we, us). It lets you sign in with Steam, upload images and share links to them. By signing in or uploading, you agree to these terms, the upload guidelines and the privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Who can use it
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- You sign in with your Steam account and you are responsible for everything uploaded from it.
- Storage depends on your account. Accounts that have played on MUTINY, and accounts with a MUTINY rank, get more.
Your content
You keep ownership of the images you upload. By uploading, you give MUTINY a non-exclusive licence to store, process, copy and serve them so the Service works, including making a public link for each one. You confirm you have the right to upload each image and that doing so doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights.
What you can't upload or do
- Pornographic or sexually explicit images.
- Graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies serious harm.
- Hateful content, slurs, or symbols that promote hatred against any group.
- Harassment, bullying, doxxing, or anyone's personal information without consent.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property.
- Malware, polyglot files, or anything made to exploit, crash or compromise systems or people.
- Flashing or strobing content likely to trigger seizures.
- Impersonation, spam, or attempts to get around limits, checks or bans, including using extra accounts.
- Anything illegal where you or we are, including terrorist content, threats and incitement to violence.
- Any content that sexualises a minor. This is blocked, kept as evidence and reported to the authorities.
Limits
Each image can be up to 50 MB, and your total storage depends on your account. We may change limits, rate limit uploads, or pause uploads to keep the Service running. Trying to get around limits can get your account suspended.
Checks and enforcement
Uploads are checked automatically before they go live and some are held for review by staff. We may remove or refuse any content, block an image's fingerprint so it can't be uploaded again, and suspend or ban accounts that break these terms, without notice. Images matching known illegal content are blocked automatically. We work with law enforcement and report illegal content where the law requires it.
Reports and takedowns
Every image page has a Report button. If you think something breaks these terms or infringes your rights, including copyright, email [email protected] with the link and the details. We act on valid reports quickly. If we remove your content and you think we got it wrong, email the same address and we'll take another look.
Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your images or your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if the law requires it. Some records, such as security logs and records about illegal content, may be kept as described in the privacy policy or as the law requires.
No guarantees
The Service is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will always be online or that images will always be available, so keep your own copies. As far as the law allows, MUTINY isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss from using the Service. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the Service after a change means you accept it.
